Cindy Larsen is from Birmingham Alabama and is a very active member of Dance Masters of America. She is a Nationally Certified Examiner in Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Modern and is currently the National First Vice President. She is on the adjudication circuit for Dance Masters of America and Platinum. Cindy is the Director of SHIP SMU, (Student Honors Intensive Program at Southern Methodist University), which is a week of dance education from some of the most incredible instructors.
She has been a dance instructor for the past 37 years with a specialty in Tap. She is also the owner and director of “DayCare Dance”, a program molding the dance education of young children in day care facilities.
Cindy studied under many amazing tap teachers in New York and LA and has many students with very successful dance and acting careers in New York, L.A and abroad. She is one of the choreographers for “The Sugar Babies”, an all-adult traveling tap group. Her love for tap has grown into a life long career.
