A Hope Studio is a dance studio that partners with Dancers Against Cancer (DAC) to raise funds and awareness for dancers and their families battling cancer. By becoming a Hope Studio, you join a community committed to making a difference through dance.

To become a Hope Studio, start by filling out the application form on our website. Once submitted, a DAC representative will contact you to guide you through the setup process and discuss fundraising ideas and goals.

There are three tiers based on the annual fundraising amounts: Gold ($1,000 – $9,999), Platinum ($10,000 – $19,999), and Diamond ($20,000 and above). Each tier offers different benefits and recognitions.

There are no fees to join the Hope Studio program. We welcome all dance studios willing to commit to raising a minimum of $1,000 annually for DAC.

DAC provides marketing materials, fundraising ideas, and event support. Each Hope Studio receives promotional items such as window stickers and plaques to showcase their commitment and status.

Funds raised by Hope Studios support the general mission of DAC, which includes providing financial assistance and support services to dance families affected by cancer. Specific allocations can be discussed with a DAC representative.

The funds are used to support dancers and their families by covering medical expenses, travel for treatment, and other financial burdens associated with cancer treatment.

Successful events include gala performances, master classes with renowned dancers, themed dance nights, and annual dance marathons. Each event is a unique opportunity to engage the local community and raise funds.

DAC acknowledges the efforts of Hope Studios through various channels, including social media highlights, features in our newsletters, and special recognitions at our events like the Industry Dance Awards.

If a studio faces challenges in meeting the minimum fundraising goal, our team is here to help strategize and support more effective fundraising efforts. Continued partnership and effort are highly valued, and we aim to work collaboratively to achieve goals.
